Backend Developer
Job Summary
As a back-end developer it will be your responsibility to manage website processes on production web servers and local data servers within our facility. On a day-to-day basis you will streamline current processes and provide maintenance to infrastructure which may include code-migration and optimizations. Additionally, you will monitor server health and processes as well as work with front-end teams to deploy and execute project based assignments.
Job Description
- Manage Software Based Cron Events
- Manage Ubuntu Servers
- Manage cPanel and Interworx Web Servers
- Manage and Optimize MySQL Databases
- Provide Custom PHP Applications to Complete Data Processing
- Migrate Code and Software on an as-needed basis
- Provide Updates to improve software efficiency.
- Work with teams to deploy and execute projects
- Provide debugging support to solve trouble tickets
Requirements
- Must be able to work both independently and in teams
- Strong Understanding of Computer Processes
- 2+ Years Experience or College Equivalent
Working understanding of:
- PHP
- MySQL
- Linux Command Line
- SSH
- Cron Events
